Yokogawa releases CENTUM VP tenth generation system, deepens strategic cooperation with Jinggong Group2025-06-13
In June 2025, Yokogawa Electric launched its flagship control system CENTUM VP Release 7.01, and announced a multi-dimensional strategic cooperation with China Jinggong Holding Group to jointly promote industrial intelligence and green manufacturing.
Highlights of the new CENTUM VP Release 7.01
As the 50th anniversary commemorative version of the CENTUM system, the new generation Release 7.01 focuses on the concept of "autonomous operation and maintenance":
· Enhance system security and adapt to key infrastructure standards;
· Support OPC UA and expand connection compatibility;
· Improve engineering efficiency and optimize database integration and testing.
This upgraded version reflects Yokogawa's continuous innovation in process automation and intelligent control.
The cooperation between Yokogawa and Jinggong Group will focus on high-performance fibers, chemical recycling and energy-saving systems, jointly promote the localization of AI control, energy-saving management and smart factory platforms, and provide strong support for China's manufacturing upgrades.
Appearing at many international conferences to expand industry influence
Yokogawa also recently appeared at the AWWA ACE25 Water Conference and the BIO International Biotechnology Conference in the United States, showcasing its digital solutions in the fields of water treatment and high-safety control, and continuing to promote the implementation of the vision of "Industrial Automation to Autonomy (IA2IA™)".
