Product Description
The Triconex 4201N is a remote-side Remote Extender Module used in distributed Tricon safety systems. Installed in the remote expansion chassis, it communicates with a corresponding 4200N Primary RXM through multimode fiber-optic cables.

A complete TMR connection requires three 4201N modules at the remote end and three 4200N modules at the primary end. Each RXM pair uses separate transmit and receive fibers to extend one channel of the Tricon I/O bus. The fiber connection supports distances up to 1.2 miles（approximately 1.9 km） while providing ground-loop isolation and resistance to electrical interference.
