Product Description
The Triconex 4200N is a Primary Remote Extender Module used to connect a Tricon main chassis with remotely located expansion chassis. It extends the triplicated I/O bus through multimode fiber-optic links, allowing remote I/O equipment to be installed up to 1.2 miles from the main chassis.

A complete primary RXM arrangement uses three identical 4200N modules. Each 4200N communicates with a corresponding 4201N Remote RXM through two unidirectional fiber-optic cables—one for transmitting data and one for receiving data.The optical connection provides ground-loop isolation and strong resistance to electrostatic and electromagnetic interference.
