MLL-C21A is a plug-in serial-communication expansion card for Honeywell’s MasterLogic-50 PLC family that adds one RS-232C port running Modbus RTU/ASCII or the proprietary MLDP protocol. It lets you connect a modem, HMI or barcode reader up to 15 m away at speeds from 1.2 to 115.2 kb/s without occupying the CPU’s built-in programming port, and is configured in seconds with the free SoftMaster-NM software.
