Typical applications

Installed when the MasterLogic rack has to appear as a PROFIBUS slave on an external SCADA, DCS or third PLC. Common in retrofits where an existing PLC/PCS keeps overall control but needs to read/write Honeywell I/O data, and in skid integration where the Honeywell unit must “drop” its data onto a plant-wide PROFIBUS backbone.
