Model Description

IS200EMIOH1ACA is GE’s “Exciter Main I/O Board” for the EX2100 excitation system. It plugs into a single-slot, double-height VME slot and acts as the central hub that gathers PT/CT, contact-input, relay-driver and trip-relay signals from the EPCT, ECTB, EACF and EXTB terminal boards, then forwards them to the DSPX controller. At the same time it sends low-level gate-pulse commands across the backplane to the ESEL board, which in turn drives the EGPA thyristor stacks—so you get all field-control I/O and firing logic on one compact board without extra gateways or wiring.
