IS200EDCFG1AED is a GE EX2100 “Exciter DC Feedback Board” that screws into the control panel and measures both field current (via a 500 mV shunt) and field voltage right at the SCR bridge. It sends these critical signals back to the main controller through dedicated fiber-optic links—plastic fiber up to 10 m or hard-clad silica up to 90 m—so the data stays noise-free even in high-EMI environments. On-board jumpers let you scale the bridge voltage for different generator frames, while a green PSOK LED tells you at a glance that the on-card ±15 V and +5 V regulators are healthy, making field-control commissioning and troubleshooting quick and cable-free.
