DS200DMCBG1A is a GE Mark V DOS/DUP processor board that sits in the drive rack and runs the real-time control loops for gas- and steam-turbine applications. It carries a ≥400 MHz PowerPC chip, 128 MB SDRAM and 256 MB Flash, so it can update speed, load and excitation loops in ≤1 ms—about ten times faster than a standard PLC. Three 26-pin and one 40-pin connectors let you plug A/D, encoder or firing-pulse cards straight on, while two red LEDs and a front-panel reset button give you at-a-glance status and a 3-second restart without shutting down the turbine.
