Product About:
8502-BI-DP allows legacy Genius I/O blocks (sixties-through-nineties installations) to appear as a standard Profibus-DP slave to modern PLCs or DCSs. The bridge automatically maps Genius “Global Data” into cyclic Profibus I/O; no Genius CPU is required. Configuration is done via rotary switches for station address and a simple Windows utility that creates the GSD.
