3BHE028915R0101 PCD237 A101 – ABB static excitation thyristor trigger board for medium-size synchronous machines; delivers ±15 V gate pulses up to 1600 A SCR bridges, with on-board pulse-transformer isolation and automatic inverse-voltage protection.

Fiber-optic firing commands from the main regulator arrive via HV-LV opto-links, while local LEDs show phase-loss, over-temperature and fuse-blown status.

The 220 × 140 mm Euro-card PCB mounts in the excitation cubicle, runs 0 – 70 °C on 24 V DC auxiliary, and is revision-locked: swap only with identical part number or the generator will log “firing unit mismatch” and remain off-line.
